State Universities Retirement System

State Universities Retirement System is a public pension fund based in Champaign, Illinois. Established in 1941, the pension fund was founded by the Governor and General Assembly as an administrator of benefits for employees of the University of Illinois. The pension fund provides retirement, survivor, disability, and death benefits to the employees of public universities, community colleges, and other affiliated state agencies. The assets are managed by the executive management team.
