South Dakota Investment Council

South Dakota Investment Council is a sovereign wealth fund based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Established in 1971, the fund manages the financial assets of the State of South Dakota. These include the South Dakota Retirement System, Health Care Trust Fund, Education Enhancement Trust Fund, Dakota Cement Trust Fund, School & Public Lands Fund, Cash Flow Fund, and the Higher Education Savings 529 Plan. The assets are managed by the board of directors.
