South Dakota Investment Council

South Dakota Investment Council is a sovereign wealth fund based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Established in 1971, it manages the investment of the financial assets of the State of South Dakota. It includes the South Dakota Retirement System, South Dakota Health Care Trust Fund, South Dakota Education Enhancement Trust Fund, Dakota Cement Trust Fund, South Dakota School & Public Lands Fund, South Dakota Cash Flow Fund, and Higher Education Savings 529 Plan. The assets of the agency are managed by an investment council board.
