New Orleans Municipal Employees' Retirement System

New Orleans Municipal Employees' Retirement System (NOMERS) is a public pension fund based in New Orleans, Louisiana. Established in 1947, the plan was placed under the management of the five-member board of trustees. The plan is supported by full-time staff to provide retirement allowances, and death benefits for all officers, employees of the city, the parochial, judicial officers, and employees of Orleans parish. The plan's retirement system is governed by the executive management team.
