New Orleans Municipal Employees' Retirement System

New Orleans Municipal Employees' Retirement System (NOMERS) is a public pension fund based in New Orleans, Louisiana. Established in 1947, the plan was placed under the management of the five-member board of trustees. The plan is supported by full-time staff for the purpose of providing retirement allowances, and death benefits for all officers, employees of the city, the parochial, judicial officers, and employees of Orleans parish. The assets of the pension are managed by the executive management team.
