National Development Fund of Taiwan

National Development Fund of Taiwan (NDF) is a sovereign wealth fund located in Taipei, Taiwan. NDF was established in 1973 to support industry innovation, research and development in Taiwan. The firm provides direct investment into firms, indirect investment via venture capital funds, and loan financing. The company has invested into more than 50 venture capital funds globally. The Executive Yuan has set up a National Development Fund which was formed by merging with Sino-American Fund in October, 2006.
