National Development Fund of Taiwan

National Development Fund of Taiwan is a sovereign wealth fund located in Taipei, Taiwan. Established in 1973, the fund supports industry innovation, research, and development in Taiwan. The fund provides direct investment into firms, indirect investment via venture capital funds, and loan financing. The company has invested in more than 50 venture capital funds globally. The Executive Yuan set up a National Development Fund which was formed by merging with Sino-American Fund in October 2006. The assets of the fund are managed and governed by the executive management team.
