Premier Alternatives

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 28, 2026

Who we are

Premier Alternatives is a secondary brokerage in Vero Beach, Florida. Securities transactions are conducted by our registered representatives through Rainmaker Securities, LLC and GT Securities, Inc., both FINRA-member broker-dealers. This policy covers premieralts.com and the emails we send.

Premier Alternatives is under common ownership with Private Market View, the data service at privatemarketview.com. The company, investor and people pages on this site are produced by Private Market View and shown here. Private Market View has its own privacy policy; its members’ account data and activity are never shared with our desk.

What we collect from you

Account. You sign in with Google, LinkedIn or a link we email you, so we hold your email address, your name and a profile picture if the provider gives one, and anything you add yourself: company, title, phone, LinkedIn profile, and whether you have told us you are an accredited investor.

Forms. When you contact the desk, place a block, ask about a listing or subscribe to deal-flow updates, we keep what you typed: your name, email, company, the position or interest you described, and your message.

Payments. Paid plans are billed by Stripe. We hold your Stripe customer id and subscription status. We never see your card number.

Usage. Pages viewed, searches and clicks, the page that sent you here and any campaign tags on the link, your device type, browser and operating system, and a country and city derived from your IP address. This is tied to a session cookie, and to your account once you sign in.

Email. When we send you an email, we record whether it was opened and which links were clicked. Links in our emails pass through premieralts.com so we can see which listing drew interest.

Security logs. Our hosting and edge providers log IP addresses and requests to keep the site up and block abuse. We read those logs to spot scraping and attacks, not to profile visitors.

How we use it

To run the site and your account. To answer your inquiry: a deal inquiry is handled by a registered representative, and the broker-dealer’s supervision and record-keeping rules apply to that conversation. To send you what you asked for: deal-flow updates and listing alerts, each with an unsubscribe link. To understand what gets used, in aggregate, so we can improve the site.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not run advertising on this site.

Who sees it

  • Our broker-dealers. Rainmaker Securities, LLC and GT Securities, Inc. see the records of any transaction and the communications around it, as their supervision requires.
  • Counterparties. When you ask us to arrange a trade, we share what the other side needs to proceed, and only with your go-ahead. Until then your name stays on our desk.
  • Service providers, under contract. Hosting (Vercel), edge security (Cloudflare), database (Neon), email (SendGrid, Google Workspace) and payments (Stripe). Each receives only what its function requires.
  • The law. Regulators, courts and law enforcement when a valid request requires it.

People listed in the directory

The company, investor and people pages describe private companies, investment firms and the professionals at them: a person’s name, firm, role and, where available, a professional profile link and work contact details. The sources are public regulatory filings (SEC Forms D and ADV, 13F and N-PORT reports), company and fund websites, press coverage, and licensed commercial data providers. We publish this as a professional directory for people who work in private markets. It is about your work, not your private life, and in European terms we rely on legitimate interest to publish it.

If you are listed and want out, say so. Write to [email protected] from any address and we will remove your page, your contact details and your listing on firm and company pages, and put your name on a do-not-collect list so a later data pull does not recreate it. We confirm in writing when it is done, within 30 days and usually much sooner. Corrections work the same way. Firm and company pages stay; the request is about you.

Cookies

A sign-in cookie for your session. A session cookie for the usage measurement described above. If you arrive from a link in one of our emails, a cookie lets you see that listing’s detail without signing in, scoped to that listing. Cloudflare sets a cookie to tell people from bots. No advertising cookies and no cross-site trackers.

How long we keep it

Account data for as long as your account exists; ask and we delete it. Usage data in session-level form for product measurement. Business communications and transaction records for as long as securities regulations require, which means a deal conversation with the desk is kept even after you ask us to delete your account. Directory entries until you ask us to remove them.

Your rights and choices

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, and unsubscribe from any email with the link at the bottom of it. One message to [email protected] does it; we may ask you to confirm you are who you say you are. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. If you are in California: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined there, and the same rights to know and delete apply.

Changes

Changes are posted here with a new date. A material change is also emailed to account holders.
