Employees Retirement System of Texas is a public pension fund based in Austin, Texas. Established in 1947, the system provides pension, retirement, and other benefit programs for state employees, retirees, and their dependents. ERST also administers the Texas Employees Group Benefits Program, TexFlex, and TexaSaver programs. The assets are managed by the executive management team.
