Employees Retirement System of Texas

Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS) is a public pension fund based in Austin, Texas. Established in 1947, ERS provides pension, retirement, and other benefit programs for state employees, retirees, and their dependents. ERST also administers the Texas Employees Group Benefits Program (GBP), TexFlex, and Texa saver programs. The fund's investments are governed by the board of trustees.
