CARB-X

Founded in 2016, CARB-X is a not-for-profit investment firm led by Boston University based in Boston, Massachusetts. The firm supports companies through the early stages of product development and phase 1. The firm provides grant funding for antibiotics, vaccines, rapid diagnostics, and other life-saving products that target the most serious forms of Gram-negative bacteria and difficult-to-treat bacteria including C. difficile.
