Virginia Retirement System

Virginia Retirement System is a multi-employer public pension based in Richmond, Virginia. Established in 1942, the pension manages two defined benefit plans and a hybrid plan combining defined benefit and defined contribution features. It covers full-time salaried state employees, certain public college faculty, public school staff, and employees of participating Virginia localities. The assets are managed by the executive team.
