University of Puerto Rico Retirement System

The University of Puerto Rico Retirement System is a single-employer corporate pension based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Established in 2007, the purpose of the plan is to provide benefits for officers and employees of the university against the risks of old age, disability, death, or unemployment, to induce appropriate persons to enter and remain in the university service, thereby contributing to an efficient administration. The assets are managed by the retirement board.
