United Gulf Bank (UGB) is a banking institution based in Manama, Bahrain. Established in 1980, the bank is an asset management, merchant, and investment banking group, with operations spanning the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. It is licensed as a conventional wholesale bank by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB). The bank engages primarily in commercial banking, proprietary investments, treasury, brokerage, and pensions. Additionally, through its non-financial associate companies, the bank holds substantial investments in the real estate, industrial, and communications sectors. The bank is a subsidiary of the KIPCO Group. The assets of the firm are managed by the executive management team.
