Union Bank of Israel (Bank Igud) was a banking institution based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Established in 1951, The bank was founded by the Eretz Israel Economic Company (U.S.A.) of New York and the Economic Company Ltd. of London. the bank provided its customers with a variety of banking services. The commercial bank offered a range of financial products including savings, loans, mortgages, credit cards, insurance including home, travel, and life insurance, and deposit accounts. The assets of the bank were managed by the board of directors. The bank has been merged with and into Mizrahi Tefahot Bank Ltd in 2022. With the completion of the merger, Union Bank has ceased to exist as an independent legal entity, and the entirety of its assets, rights, and undertakings have been granted to the Mizrahi Tefahot Bank.
