The Nelson Trust

The Nelson Trust is a multi-employer union pension based in Portland, Oregon. Established in 1967, the plan is a health and welfare plan covering employees who work under collective bargaining agreements between contributing employers and a union chartered by or affiliated with the IAM, AFL-CIO as well as covering qualified participants reported under participation agreements with the plan. The plan provides health and welfare benefits including medical, surgical, hospital, vision, dental, prescription drug, life, accidental death, and dismemberment insurance and accident and sickness weekly indemnity for eligible employees and their dependents as specified in the plan. The assets of the plan are managed by the executive management team.
