The Columbus Foundation is an independent non-profit foundation based in Columbus, Ohio. Established in 1943 by Harrison M. Sayre, the mission of the foundation is to assist donors and others in strengthening and improving the community for the benefit of all residents. Its investments are comprised of approximately two thousand component funds organized in seven fund types: unrestricted, the field of interest, designated, scholarship, organization endowment, donor-advised, and administrative. The assets of the foundation are managed by a governing committee.
