The City of Omaha Employees Retirement System

The City of Omaha Employees Retirement System is a single-employer contributory defined-benefit public pension fund based in Omaha, Nebraska. Established in 1949, the primary objective of the firm is to provide eligible employees with regular pension benefits. Since the Plan is governed by the statutes of the State of Nebraska, the provisions contained are hereby recognized and will serve as guidance to the management of this fund. In particular, the "Prudent Investor" guideline is to be followed in the investment management of the fund. The assets are managed by the board of directors.
