The California Endowment

The California Endowment is an independent non-profit foundation based in Los Angeles, California. Established in 1996, the private statewide health foundation's mission is to build a stronger state by expanding access to affordable and quality health care to under-served communities and improving the overall health of all Californians. The assets of the foundation are managed by the board of directors.
