Texas Treasury Safekeeping Trust Company

Texas Treasury Safekeeping Trust Company is a government agency based in Austin, Texas. Established in 1986, the agency was created by the Legislature as a special-purpose entity to manage, invest, and safeguard funds for its clients in the state and various subdivisions. It oversees the state's two largest Local Government Investment Pools, TexPool and TexPool Prime. It manages 11 separate endowment funds, and the portfolios are invested across a broad spectrum of asset classes. The assets of the agency are managed by the executive management team.
