Technology Development Board

Technology Development Board is a government agency based in New Delhi, India. Established in 1996 by the Government of India, the income from investment of the amount of the fund and the recoveries made of the amounts granted from the fund are credited to the fund. The mandate of the TDB is to provide financial assistance to industrial concerns and other agencies attempting to develop and commercialize indigenous technology or adapt imported technology for broader domestic applications. It provides financial assistance in the form of equity soft loans or grants. The assets are managed by the board of directors.
