Tacoma Employees' Retirement System

Tacoma Employees' Retirement System (TERS) is a multiple-employer defined-benefit public pension fund based in Tacoma, Washington. Established in 1941, it provides retirement benefits to employees of the City of Tacoma, Washington. TERS is funded through contributions from employees and the city, as well as investment earnings. The fund's assets are managed by the board of directors.
