Suomi Mutual Life Assurance Company (Suomi Mutual) was an insurance company based in Helsinki, Finland. Established in 1890, the firm was the second oldest life insurance company in Finland. The company managed the insurance policies of 40,000 customers. The assets of the firm were managed by a board of directors. The firm will wind down its business and has transferred all of its insurance portfolios. The company transferred its last portfolio, or individual pension policies, to OP Life Assurance Company on 31 December 2016.
