Streisand Foundation

Streisand Foundation is an independent non-profit private foundation based in Los Angeles, California. Established in 1986 by singer-songwriter and actress Barbra Streisand, the foundation primarily provides support through grants to environmental issues, women's issues, including reproductive choice and health-related concerns, civil liberties and democratic values, civil rights and race relations, AIDS research, advocacy, service, and litigation and also focuses on children and youth-related issues with a focus on the economically disadvantaged in Los Angeles. The assets are managed by the executive management team.
