State Small Business Credit Initiative

State Small Business Credit Initiative is a government agency based in Washington, District of Columbia. Established in 2010, the agency provides direct funding to states for programs that expand access to credit for small businesses and small manufacturers. State-run programs include portfolio insurance for lenders, loan guarantees, loan participation, cash collateral programs, and venture capital programs. The assets of the agency are governed by the executive team.
