State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan

State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan is a sovereign wealth fund based in Baku, Azerbaijan. Established in 1999, the fund's mission is to transform decreasing hydrocarbon reserves into financial assets generating perpetual income for current and future generations, to finance strategically important infrastructure and social projects of national scale, and to ensure the representation of the country in international agreements on joint exploration of natural resources. The assets are managed by the executive management team.
