Square 1 Ventures was acquired by Industry Ventures in April 2014. Square 1 ventures was a fund of funds based in Durham, North Carolina. Founded in 2007, the firm specialized in venture capital fund-of-funds. Additionally, the firm focused on investment opportunities within brand name firms, emerging managers and spin-outs and established regional firms.
