Shelter Insurance Employees Retirement Plan is a noncontributory defined benefit single-employer corporate pension based in Columbia, Missouri. Established in 1981, the plan provides retirement and pension benefits to all full-time employees working on behalf of Shelter Mutual Insurance Company, Shelter General Insurance Company, Shelter Reinsurance Company, Shelter Life Insurance Company, and Shelter Financial Services, including its subsidiaries. UMB Bank is the custodian of the plan. The assets of the plan are managed by the executive management team.
