Shell Trust (Bermuda)

Shell Trust (Bermuda) is a corporation based in Hamilton, Bermuda. Established in 1953, the firm is a corporate Trustee of the Shell Overseas Contributory Pension Fund (SOCPF). The role of the Trustee is to invest the SOCPF's assets, administer the trust in line with the Trust Deed and Regulations, and pay the benefits. The Trustee delegates most of the day-to-day running of the SOCPF to the Trustee Services Unit, and the investment activities to the Investment Manager. The Trustee also appoints external professional advisers to help manage the SOCPF. The Trustee monitors the activities carried out by others on its behalf. The assets of the firm are managed by the executive management team.
