San Diego City Employees' Retirement System

San Diego City Employees Retirement System is a public pension fund based in San Diego, California. Established in 1926, the plan administers three separate single-employer defined benefit pension plans for the City, Port, and Airport. SDCERS provides service retirement, disability retirement, death, and survivor benefits to its participants. The assets of the pension fund are managed by the board of administration which is responsible for the prudent administration of retirement benefits for City, Port, and Airport employees and for overseeing the investment portfolio of the retirement systems trust fund. The assets are managed by the executive team.
