Retirement Plan of Piedmont Natural Gas Company

Retirement Plan of Piedmont Natural Gas Company was a single-employer defined benefit corporate pension fund based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Established in 1951, the plan provided retirement and pension benefits to the employees of Piedmont Natural Gas Company, a national natural gas distributor. The plan was administered by the Duke Energy Benefits Committee. During 2017 the Plan assets of Piedmont plan were transferred to the Master Retirement Trust.
