Regents of the University of California

Regents of the University of California manage the University of California's endowment, based in Oakland, California. The Board of Regents governs the University of California. The Board of Regents established UC Investments to manage the University of California's retirement, endowment, working capital, and cash assets under the policies, guidelines, and performance benchmarks. The mission of UC Investments is to implement those policies and guidelines by selecting, executing, and monitoring investment strategies designed to add value over the benchmarks within a risk-controlled framework. The assets are managed by the board of regents.
