Pittco Management is the single-family office for Joseph R. Pitt Hyde III, founder of AutoZone, and his wife Barbara. The firm was established over 30 years ago and provides investment, accounting, tax, and financial services from its headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee. The firm's investment approach is threefold. First, it invests in best-in-class investment managers across all investment classes including equities, bonds, and energy and natural resources. Second, through its wholly owned entity, Pittco Direct Investments, the firm makes investments directly into companies. Types of investments include venture, buyout, and PIPE transactions. Finally, through a captive relationship with Meta Real Estate Partners, the firm invests in multi-family, hotel, office and retail, primarily in the Southeastern United States.
