Pension Benefit Guaranty
Pension Benefit Guaranty is a government agency based in Washington, District of Columbia. Established in 1974, the agency protects the retirement incomes of American workers. It was created to encourage the continuation and maintenance of private-sector defined benefit pension plans, provide timely and uninterrupted payment of pension benefits, and keep pension insurance premiums at a minimum.
