Oregon Investment Fund
Oregon Investment Fund (OIF) was a fund of funds and co-investment programs formed in Portland, Oregon in 2003. The fund was designed to encourage, build, and invest in growing, innovative enterprises creating risk-adjusted returns for the Oregon Public Employees Retirement Fund (OPERF). OIF, funded by the OIC (Oregon Investment Council) and run by Credit Suisse, committed money to both private equity and venture capital funds that in turn invested in companies located in the State of Oregon, as well as the broader Pacific Northwest region. In some circumstances, OIF invested directly in operating companies alongside OIF's private equity and venture capital managers. The firm is no longer in business and is not actively tracked by PitchBook.
