Novo Holdings

Novo Holdings (Novo) is a direct investment firm based in Hellerup, Denmark. Established in 1999, the firm is the holding company of the Novo Group and manages the foundation's investment assets. In addition to being the major shareholder in the Novo Group companies, the firm invests the wealth of the foundation in two key categories, life science investments, which include investing in life science companies at all stages of development, and financial investments, which manage a diversified portfolio of equity and fixed-income securities. The assets of the firm are managed by the board of directors.
