Nordic Development Fund is an economic development agency based in Helsinki, Finland. Established in 1988, the agency is a multilateral joint development finance institution of the five Nordic countries Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. The objective of NDF's operations is to facilitate climate change investments in low-income countries. NDF finances in cooperation with bilateral and multilateral development institutions. The agency's board of directors makes all grant decisions, while the control committee oversees that the operations are conducted in accordance with the statutes. The assets of the agency are managed by the board of directors.
