Newport News Employees Retirement Fund is a single-employer, defined benefit, public pension fund based in Newport News, Virginia. Established in 2009, the plan provides pension benefits for employees of the local government, including the non-professional employees of the Newport News School System. It also provides other post-employment benefits (OPEB) for city retirees. The assets are managed by the board of trustees.
