New Jersey Division of Investment
New Jersey Division of Investment is a public pension fund based in Trenton, New Jersey. Established in 1950, the division is under the supervision of the State Investment Council, one of the largest pension fund managers in the United States. Its primary responsibility is to oversee and manage the assets of the state's public pension systems, including the Judicial Retirement System, Police & Firemen's Retirement System, Public Employees' Retirement System, State Police Retirement System, and Teachers' Pension & Annuity Fund. The division allocates funds across multiple asset classes such as equities, fixed income, real estate, private equity, and alternative investments, with the goal of sustaining long-term pension obligations.
