NEAR Foundation

NEAR Foundation is a foundation based in Zug, Switzerland. Established in 2020, the foundation supports community-driven innovation with a specific focus on open-source Web3 projects and tooling on the NEAR Protocol. The foundation distributes grant funding to the NEAR ecosystem, coordinates governance among participants, educates people about the protocol, and helps foster an inclusive and open community. The assets of the foundation are managed by the board of directors.
