Municipal Employees Retirement System of Louisiana

Municipal Employees' Retirement System of Louisiana is a multi-employer defined benefit public pension fund based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Established in 1955, the fund provides retirement benefits to the employees of the municipalities of the state. It provides benefits to employees of all incorporated villages, towns, and cities within the state of Louisiana that do not have their own retirement system. The assets are managed by the executive management team.
