Mumtalakat (Private Equity)

Mumtalakat is a sovereign wealth fund located in Manama, Bahrain. Established in 2006, the fund is a government-owned holding company that oversees a range of commercial assets. It was formed to carry out state-directed initiatives aimed at improving asset performance, governance standards, and operational efficiency. It allocates capital across multiple sectors, including industrial manufacturing, financial services, telecommunications, real estate, tourism, transportation, and food production. The assets are managed by the executive management team.
