Michigan Department of Treasury is a government agency based in Lansing, Michigan. Established in 1837, the agency is responsible for collecting, disbursing, and investing all state capital. The department advises the Governor on all tax and revenue policies, collects and administers state taxes. The department is also responsible for the fiscal health of Michigan's local governments and schools. The assets are managed by the executive team.
