Merle Chambers Fund

Merle Chambers Fund was an independent non-profit family foundation based in Denver, Colorado. Established in 1983, the fund supported regional and national nonprofit organizations that created systems change, improved life quality and circumstances, and reflected its values and interests. It mainly supported organizations that helped women become economically self-sufficient, enhanced children's early care and education, strengthened justice, equality, and opportunity, and enriched the arts and culture. The assets were managed by the board of directors. The fund has spent down and is closed as of December 31, 2024.
