Los Angeles City Employees' Retirement System

Los Angeles City Employees' Retirement System is a public pension fund based in Los Angeles, California. Established in 1937, the pension fund provides retirement, pension, death, survival, and disability benefits to the civilian employees of the City of Los Angeles. LACERS administers the benefits approved by the city which includes pension benefits, administration of retiree health care premiums, and management of the pension fund portfolio to offset payment of these obligations. The fund's investments are governed by the executive management team.
