Kornfeld Foundation

Kornfeld Foundation is an independent, non-profit private foundation based in Brooklyn, New York. Established in 1978, the foundation primarily supports Literacy enrichment programs for New York City public school children that focus on arts education and professional development; Robert Packard Center for ALS Research at Johns Hopkins Medical School; Grants in palliative care research, currently focused on the National Palliative Care Research Center at Icahn School of Medicine, Mount Sinai, New York, and Community service grants focused on improving education, health, and well-being services for immigrant and minority communities in New York City. The assets are managed by the board of directors.
