Korean Federation of Community Credit Cooperatives is an economic development agency based in Seoul, South Korea. Established in 1973, the purpose of KFCC is to supervise the work of the Community Credit Cooperative (CC). It also performs the role of a central bank by controlling the CC's liquidity. The agency mainly handles public relations and the insurance business for CC and its members. It manages depositors' protection funds to guarantee the return of savings of CC members in emergencies. The goal of its international cooperation business is to strengthen cooperation with international cooperative societies. It operates in different segments of businesses namely credit business, reserve for repayment, receipt of savings, lending, electronic banking, cashier's check, checks card, and IT.
