Iowa Public Employees' Retirement System

Iowa Public Employees' Retirement System (IPERS) is a defined benefit public pension fund based in Des Moines, Iowa. Established in 1953 by the Iowa Legislature to replace the Iowa Old-Age and Survivors' Insurance System (IOASI), the plan provides retirement and pension benefits to eligible employees of the State. The funds' assets are managed by the executive management team.
