IDB Invest

IDB Invest is an economic development agency based in Washington, District of Columbia. Established in 1986, the agency is a member of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Group and promotes private sector development in Latin America and the Caribbean with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It helps companies streamline management processes and provide them with financing in the form of equity investments, loans, and guarantees. The agency's mission is to promote economic development in its regional developing member countries by fostering the establishment, expansion, and modernization of private enterprises in a manner that complements the activities of the IDB. The assets of the agency are managed by the executive management team.
