Housing Development Finance Corporation

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) was a corporation based in Mumbai, India. Established in 1977, the company offered mortgage services to the housing industry in India. HDFC offered finance primarily to individual households and corporates for the purchase and construction of residential housing. It also offered personal banking, retail banking, and commercial banking services. The assets of the company were governed and managed by the board of directors. The firm was merged with HDFC Bank on July 01, 2023.
